We look in the mirror, try out on a whole new pair of pants, or step on the machine, and alpilean pills faq are unhappy with what we see or maybe feel. Perhaps we are working after a bus, walking the dog, or maybe playing with the kids or perhaps grandkids and realize that we are quickly exhausted where by once we would not have granted it a second thought.
We’re formally “overweight”, and something should be done!
The response is automatic, along with a complete market has grown up which feeds on this one thought:
“I should lose weight!”
“Weight loss and weight loss aren’t the same thing. You must learn to distinguish between the two. The weighing machine can be quite misleading if it’s the sole standards you use for measurement.” –Tom Venuto, “Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle”
However, the issue is not just that “weight loss” and “fat loss” aren’t necessarily the same. The fundamental problem, at least in my view, is that people who do not know a whole lot about the way the entire body, exercise, and nutrition work, and the interactions between & among them, are likely to think that since the issue is “weight” the solution is “less weight”.
This usually leads the person down two trails, often at the same time, if you are able to imagine that.
The first will be the easiest path.
