ALARMS Actuate the secondary alarm to set the alarm sound and light. Sound mode: On/Off (Silent). Light mode: On/Off (Visible). CLEAR RANGE • 360-degree turn, clear to 25 m (70 feet) for primary search and 200-900 m (660-2,730 feet) for secondary search. • Minimum clear range of 200 m (656 feet) for primary search and 1000 m (3,280 feet) for secondary search for Auto-Lock feature enabled. HINDING • Some maps may be configured to ignore “noise” to help you more easily detect an animal on the ground. BLANK MOON • The Garmin BlueChart G2 Vision uses lunar data to plot more accurate positions of satellites on the charts. It is optimized for distance and angle tracking. • The BlueChart G2 Vision uses artificial satellites that orbit Earth. While the accuracy of the positioning system has been improved, the system is still affected by other satellites that are in view. • If your device is equipped with a special GPS module (Vivitar GPS 825), the unit will automatically connect to the satellite network and determine your location. In the U.S. and Canada, the unit will switch to satellite position if GPS positioning is unavailable. • If your device does not have the special GPS module, the unit will use its own built-in GPS receiver and the available satellite system if it is not working properly. • GPS satellites should be visible to obtain the most accurate distance and angle readings. DETECTING SURFACES • The system uses three ranges to detect animals on the ground. • The primary sensitivity switch adjusts the sensitivity to the wide or narrow range. • The terrain sensitivity switch adjusts how the unit interprets the characteristics of the terrain. • Each range sensor is calibrated for optimal settings, and you can change the settings on your device. WAYPOINT EXPLORER • Waypoints enable you to create a position to note on the chart without having to manually enter longitude and latitude. • If you create a waypoint, you can keep track of it by saving it to your device’s memory. • You can use the Garmin navigation features to navigate to each waypoint. • You can save the waypoints in your route for quick reference in your device. • Delete a waypoint by selecting it and pressing the Delete button. • The waypoint feature can create waypoints on the primary and secondary charts and the dual chart. It can also be used for route creation. • To save the routes created, you must import them to a compatible device. USING THE CHARTS The following features are available on all the Garmin chart overlays. • Waypoints – Create waypoints using the baseline shown on the chart, or enter them manually. Waypoints can be used to mark points and place notes on the chart. • Places – Save maps with those places that you want to remember. You can create up to 50 places on a chart and drag places to specific locations. • Highlights – Highlight points of interest to find these points more easily. Highlighted points are shown in red.

But the wild card is largely a myth, used to create six “playoff” teams from four divisions. Though the AL and NL manage their own divisions, the Wild Card is a compromise to give each the winner of a separate league the same quality of play.
Rising from the ashes of two remarkably successful, but ultimately ill fated, efforts to create an all encompassing, global standard for terrestrial digital television, UHF (0.6 0.7 0.9 MHz) broadcasting is still gaining attention from broadcasters and television owners. UMTS is still largely thought to be superior to its UHF predecessors because of its higher-bandwidth capacity, improved video compression (MPEG-4 Advanced Simple Profile (ASP) layered on top of CM-1 compression), and over-the-air data capabilities. Although interference to mobile phones, cordless phones and microwave ovens can be problematic, the former and latter can be minimized as broadband over power lines and wireless LAN are becoming more and more common. UMTS is mainly useful to mobile phones since it is designed to transmit from satellites, base stations and at the edges of the coverage, and, as such, UMTS coverage is largely in unlicensed regions. For mobile phone use, broadband is generally only useful for data transfer (mobiles are not often reliable for voice transmission).
