The majority of the caregivers have completed only primary education, while only 27% of caregivers completed only secondary education. Multivariate analysis showed that pregnancy and labor experience, workplace, region of residence, and education were significantly associated with the mother’s condition during pregnancy. Although the likelihood of maternal mortality was higher, the rate of maternal morbidity was similar to other studies.
